Research
I study how plants communicate with each other through chemical signals and how this shapes their interactions with insects. My research shows that even undamaged plants can strengthen the resistance of their neighbors, making them less attractive to pests and more attractive to beneficial insects. By uncovering these hidden interactions, I aim to develop innovative strategies for more sustainable and resilient crop protection.
