Presentation

My main research focus involves ecological connectivity in both temperate and tropical seascapes. I am also interested in the ecological effects of no-take zones/marine reserves and how ecologically coherent marine protected area (MPA) networks are regarding connectivity and representativity of important habitats. Another area of interest is the availability of nutritious aquatic foods in low- and middle income countries and how this may change with a changing climate. I am also interested in the impact of tourism on fish in tropical seascapes and the availability of nutritious food for the local population.
